I loved the gem feature on the active timers and how I could see it from my lock screen. The new timer is so bland and the no break policy is so strict and restrictive. The fluidity the app added on my focus sessions and the timers with the gems I earned was exactly why I chose this app over all the other ones. It’s the only app I’ve used for so long. Didn’t have no sloppy animations no childish timer screens it was very subtle and the mini games made it amazing. Completely made me to stop wanting to scroll. I had to do math games to use a break and by the time I got my dopamine reward most of the time I didn’t even want to use the break for my sessions. The new version feels so frustrating to use it got overly complicated and so less fun to use and all that during final exams period wich makes it was worse while I was omw to get a new gemstone. I’m seriously considering on switching apps to something that feels more like me since this is nothing like the previous app.
